The collection of camellias is relatively young (1980) but is very varied and maintained carefully. All the camellias are planted in open ground and are distributed in the arboretum.
You can find there a majority of Japonica, but also hybrids, Botanics, Reticulata and Sasanqua.

With these photographs, you will have a small selection of this pretty collection. Do not hesitate to visit this garden, if you are in the Bruges area between March and April (or in autumn). You can also find in Belgium many nurseries. The camellia is very present in Belgium. Belgium nurseries are well-known for breeding (to convince you, use the search function on the “origins”).
